You could either go there and stay in one of their log cabins or you can rent an RV and enjoy the surroundings while having a homely atmosphere. If you are close enough to the National Park an actual camping complete with tent and bonfire is even better.
If you’re really itching to go out of the country, here are two alternatives to the popular destinations: Dominican Republic and Slovenia. Going to these countries could be a little bit pricey but your accommodation will actually beat any cheap hotels in Cancun or Mexico. Dominican Republic offers beaches that are as beautiful as other South American beaches while Slovenia has the best ski resort in Europe.
