Family Vacations

Find The Right Vacation For Your Family

Adults and children all love a Disney vacation. It is a magical place with so much to do. You can choose to go to Disneyland in California or to Disney World in Florida. The both have the same basic set up and attractions. Disneyland has added another theme park across from it called Disney California. It has plenty of new attractions for those who love the Disney theme but want to experience something new. You can purchase hopper tickets that let you go back and forth between the two parks. Disney World has the famous Epcot Center.

A Disney vacation is something you need to spread out over several days. I have seen many people be disappointed when they try to get through all the attractions and shows in two days. Your whole family will enjoy your Disney vacation more if you have plenty of time to go at a leisurely pace. This also leaves plenty of time to go back to everyone’s favorite attractions one more time.

Both Disneyland and Disney World are divided into sections. It is a good idea to look at the map and plan your day of activities. Most shows take place several times throughout the day so you can see one while you are working through that particular area of the park. Fantasyland with most of the rides for the younger children is often congested during the middle of the day. Try to go there when the park first opens or late in the evening.

Popular attractions can have very long wait times. You can avoid this by choosing the fast pass option. This is a ticket where you get a particular window of time to return to the attraction and go to the front of the line. Doing this on several rides will give you more time to enjoy the park and less time waiting in line. If you choose a character breakfast in the morning, you will get early entrance into the Disney theme park as well as enjoy meeting the famous Disney characters. They come around to each table to greet you and your children.
